Hi friends, I am really loving the challenges over at CSI. I couldn't resist scrapping a layout for case file number 3. What a beautiful palette. Oh a quick little toot toot. I'm so touched and honored to say my first layout of my angel son Lachlan was featured on CSI. It is obviously such a special layout to me and to have it featured makes it even more special. See feature here Anyway getting all teary now. So back to my new layout. The photo is of my daughter and I and was taken by the talented Tanya of Tindale images I used all the beautiful colors of the palette. I used three of the "evidence" criteria ; doilies, tags and gold metallic accents. The doilies are from my vintage doily collection, my gold "love" word was actually a necklace, I cut off the pearls it was hanging on and replaced with my twine. The tags I handmade and wrote my journalling on and I have them tucked in a mini book print envelope from rainbow splendour. For my journalling criteria I chose to go with the "second person point of view" criteria. Journalling is written over the 5 little tags. It reads: "photo: 22.08.10 Journalling 27.01.12" "Your full of fun, gigglgles, mischief and love" "You never cease to amaze me with all the precious things you say now" "Hearing you say I love you Mum, fills my heart" "You are turning into such an amazing little girl and my love for you is depper than any love imaginable" Products used: Sassafras, paper loft and crate patterned papers Prima flowers and lace Sassafrass and american crafts alphas American crafts cardstock (for the punched butterflies) D-lish scraps; flower and pearl sprays Rainbow splendour; pinwheel, mni envelope, felt heart and flag.
